LIMITED WARRANTY

All POTG (Canada) Inc. (POTG) products intended for home and personal (non-commercial) use receive a one year limited warranty on parts only.

Coverage Period: One (1) year from originally purchasing date.

What is Covered: Replacement parts for the generator and engine.

What Is NOT Covered
(1) Damage caused by shipping company or by abuse, accident, improper repair, or failure to perform normal maintenance.
(2) Power units or engines which are covered exclusively by the warranties of their manufacturer.
(3) Sales outside of the United States or Canada.
(4) Any other expense including consequential damages, incidental damages, or incidental expenses, including damage to property.

To Qualify for this Warranty
The product must be purchased from an authorized POTG dealer. The warranty is for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable.

What POTG (Canada) Inc. will Repair or Replace Under Warranty
POTG will repair or replace, at its option, any part that is proven to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period. Warranty repairs and replacements will be made without charge for parts only. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of POTG. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product and warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product warranty.

Exclusions to this Warranty
This warranty does not extend to parts affected by accident and/or collision, corrosion or rust, normal wear, fuel contamination, use in an application for which the product was not designed, unauthorized service, or any other misuse, neglect, incorporation or use of unsuitable attachments or parts.   Unauthorized alteration or any cause other than defects in material or workmanship of the product will not be covered under the warranty.

Consumable parts, such as filters, belts, gaskets, packing, fuses, brushes, fuel injection nozzle valve, lubricant, protective zinc coat, thermostat and ignition plug, are not covered under this warranty. All expenses incurred in maintaining and replacing them shall fall on the purchaser.

Under this Warranty POTG does not have the obligation to bear any transportation fees of any POTG product to/from the POTG Warranty Centre.

POTG (Canada) Inc. disclaims any responsibility for the loss of time or use of the product, transportation, commercial loss, or any other incidental or consequential damage. Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of the written limited warranty.

Commercial Users Warranty
All POTG (Canada) Inc. (POTG) products intended for commercial use receive a three month limited warranty. The purchased product shall be free from defect in material and workmanship under normal use and service during the warranty period.

Coverage Period: Three (3) months from originally purchasing date.

What is Covered: Replacement parts for the generator and engine.

What Is NOT Covered

All KIPOR generators are no longer covered under the POTG warranty. All warranty claims must be made to Coast Distributing or directly to www.kipor.com. POTG regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
